Christian Author, Pastor, and advocate for helping parents raise whole, healed, Kingdom leaders right from the Family Room. I whole-heartedly believe that discipleship begins at home--but so does healing. Here at Family Room Mission we are equipping Christian parents to raise whole, Spirit-led NextGen leaders by creating spaces where the body is nurtured, the soul is restored, and the spirit is ignited for God's mission. 

At the heart of every family is a God-given design. We believe that when parents understand their Redemptive Gifts--the unique writing God placed in them from birth--they become powerful vessels of healing, leadership, and purpose in the home.

This is my Story...

I am a full-time minister, wife, and mother of 3. I have worked in NextGen Ministry for the last 8 years in the local church and am passionate about sharing the gospel with every generation. I have an MA in elementary education and am a licensed pastor with the AG (Assemblies of God), and I passionate about NextGen, Family, and Biblical Counseling ministries. 

I grew up in church my whole life and had an encounter with Jesus when I turned 30. I felt called into the ministry and became a children's pastor in the local church. I was astonished at the lack of discipleship with the homes of the children I worked with and reflected on my own life that my home was not filled with discipleship either. I felt that there had to be a better way. I dove head-first into the Bible researching God's design for the family unit and quickly realized that that was what our society was missing. 

We began healing our own family, and creating a Family Team on Mission to change the world. Incorporating our gifts, design, and callings into our daily conversations. We built identity in our children and ourselves, helping us align with God's purpose for our lives, because we believe that the Family Room is the first mission field. 

In 2020 my husband and I left our local church and started a house church. It wasn't easy, but it was exciting to see how our family room quickly turned into a mission field for Jesus. Not just with our own kids, but with the families that gathered weekly in our home. 

In 2022, God moved our little house church to an empty church building next to a university. Quickly we were filled with young adults who were hungry for more of God's Word. We still incorporated the house church model and began promoting discipleship from our homes and families that called our church home. 

During this time, I felt called to start writing and incorporating fiction with purpose into our discipleship approach. By creating stories that applied to the students' walk with Jesus they were able to be discipled, engaged, and grow at exponential rates. I wanted my children to be able to see that they are not alone and that there is more to their faith than just punching a ticket with salvation. 

I am passionate about teaching and training the next generation, whether that be from their own homes, books, or activities that promote a lifestyle of discipleship. I am glad you are here and hopefully some of the resources provided can help you too.
